Facade
I see through your playful smile
into the depths of your heart
a heart that beats blacker then the depths of hell
a heart that beats solely for your selfish pleasures
How could I of been so blind
to think you were a caring person
when everything you do, i
s in some way,
a benefit to you
Your fiery words and hurtful actions,
have burned holes of hatred and mistrust in my heart
holes that may one day heal, but forever will be left the scars
Scars to remind me not to be so trusting and to proceed with caution into my next relationship.
To imagine I loved someone
so mean, so heartless, so evil
makes me not want to trust my own feelings
You can only fool people with your fake facade for so long
Slowly the evil begins to creep through rearing its ugly head
Only then will people see the real you
