Wow, it has been a long time. I finally renewed my membership after seven years. A lot has changed since I last logged in, but coming back here after so long brings back some good memories. Hopefully I'll be able to visit more often now, even if it's only for a few minutes at a time.

Oh how I've missed you, Suicidegirls.

Well, it's been a month and a half since I set foot in the World of Warcraft. I had too much to do in real life, too many designs to work on and was busy looking for a new job, so I let my subscription lapse. Hardest thing I've ever had to do. But now I have a new job and more free time, so...

Well, it turns out quitting my job was the best thing I could have done for myself. I applied to a restaurant that same day, got called for an interview two days later, and started work as a line cook the following morning. Three days from one job to the next -- that's the quickest I've ever found a new job. And it's so much...

Yesterday I made a questionable decision and quit my job. I just couldn't stomach going to another shift at a job I hate that much. And yet I don't regret it entirely. In fact, I feel a lot more free now. Free to find a job I actually enjoy, free to spend more time on my designing and sewing, free to live each day as...

Well, this is interesting. A month ago I was lamenting the fact that I didn't have a social life and spent my evenings at home alone because I had no reason to go out. Now I have four women who are interested in me and upcoming dates with three of them. I find it rather amusing that at 30 I'm getting more dates than I...

Another week, another seven days of routine. I've discovered a new hobby to quell the boredom at work, however. I was browsing a little store in the mall called Cutting Edge Cutlery one day which sells all kinds of medieval weapons and armor, both historical and fantastical, and I found they had begun to stock scale mail armor making kits. I was intrigued, so I...

Wow, hard to believe July is over already. Still plenty of summer left to enjoy though.

I'm currently nearing the end of a seven-day work period due to the stat holiday messing with people's schedules. I really can't complain, because starting on Wednesday I get three days off, followed by a day of work, followed by two more days off. Best part? I get paid...

Hmm. I realized I haven't updated the blog in a long time, so I figured I'd type something really quickly. Don't have a lot of new stuff going on right now, but my studio's set up and I'm beginning work on the celtic-themed bustier I designed a while back. When I'm not doing that, I relax by playing World of Warcraft. I recently got myself...
