Well this hasn't been the best of times for things that I like. In December we all lost one of metal's key guitarists, Dimebag Darrell. Sunday night we lost one of our nations last honest men, Dr. Hunter Thompson. Today I find out that Head, guitarist from Korn, has quit the band do to his recent acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. WHAT THE FUCK??!?!?! I mean, at least he's not dead, but what's the fucking point in that???? C'mon, everybody sing along now...."These are a few of my favorite things"....and they're all falling apart!!!! Man, all you people out there that I like, you better watch out. Aparently it's a death sentence *sigh* Oh well, good luck Head. I hope you know what you're doing. And tonight I said farewell to the Good Doctor by sharing a bottle of Wild Turkey, (one of his favorites for those who don't know) with my nephew Kendall. Drank from shot glasses from Kentucky, (Thompson's home state) and Las Vegas, (no explaination needed there I hope). But I don't think Hunter would want us all crying for him. I think he'd want us to remember him and move on. Perhaps using some of the special things that he brought to his readers throughout their lives. So I'll end with this quote from him: "Some may never live, but the crazy never die." So with that, I bid you all goodnight......
