Journal writer's block. I can't think of a single fucking interesting thing to say right now. I sat down to put up something new here and my mind went completely, utterly blank.

I guess it's just that kind of day.

I'm sick of all this shit-ass rain.

Oh well. I just downloaded tracks from Interpol's new album Antics. It sounds pretty fucking good so far. Turn On The Bright Lights was amazing, so I'm expecting great things this time around, as well. Through track #5, I'm not disappointed yet. This is extremely promising.

Date update: It went fine. No real sparks flew, but it was relatively free of any Bukowski-esque moments. All in all, it didn't suck. I can't say I'm in a hurry to go out with her again, but it could have been much worse. I wish I could figure out why certain women think I'm some hot commodity. Honestly, ask anyone around here. I'm a big, dorky loser.

Ah well, I'm off in search of cheap beer for the evening. I need to get good and drunk so that packing up my stuff doesn't suck quite so much ass.
