That is actually a court mess up. The officer did not cite you for the fail to stop at designated point. The parentheses are to tell the court the probable cause she had for stopping you. The officer should be at court and I'm sure she will be more than willing to explain it to the judge. Heck you can even look up the officer on the LAPD website and shoot her an email with the citation number as the subject line and she can contact the court herself.
