Well, now...it's been a minute since I've really been here...so I might as well update this thing here.
For starters, it seems as if my luck seems to be taking a turn for the worse, as I have to work tomorrow. I don't have duty, and it's a federal holiday...but my ship will be the only one in-port with a FULL work-day. It's one thing if we're out to sea...but in-port??? And only because the ship's Engineering department can't seem to get their shit together...make THEM come in, dammit! If my department (Combat Systems/Weapons) was in the same predicament, we would be the only ones coming in; everyone else would be at home, all snug in their beds. Makes me glad I'm gone in 4 months...
In other news, I'm putting together a schedule for a road trip of epic proportions. I went on one in September with a Navy/Internet friend of mine, and we drove from Virginia to Indiana, to Missouri, to Massachusetts, to Rhode Island, back to Virginia, to Georgia, and back again to Virginia to come home. We met about 10-14 Internet contacts that we both have known for more than a year...while some were potheads (a downer only because I couldn't join in...stupid random urinalysis), every one of them was so genuinely nice and funny that I want to do it again. Definitely not the same stops, and possibly not as many, since I'm doing this one solo (unless someone wants to come with...??? LOL), but it should prove to be a VERY interesting trip. It should take roughly two weeks, during which I'll be surviving on the disability stipend I will be receiving from the Navy. The stop list is still incomplete, but I plan on going to Georgia and Florida, for starters...I may just stay south and drive west until I can't anymore...
Well, that's all from this peanut gallery...back to the 360 and some Fallout 3/Borderlands/Assassin's Creed 2/Mass Effect 2 (I'd play MW2, but I can't get on XBL to play, so I didn't bother bringing it).

LOL...I'm out gallivanting the world again...but I'll be back Stateside in about two weeks...and back on here more regularly, as well! Gotta get my Koopster fix on, no matter the cost...LOL!
