One of the conditions of living near Boston is that you have to root for the local teams. This has proven beneficial this last year as the Patriots have won twice and the Red Soxs won their first world series in 86 years.
I am not a huge sports fan, yet the Pats and Soxs are at least entertaining. Last nights game was fun to watch, fun to drink beer and eat nachos to, and fun to have friends around hurling abuse at the tv.
In other news, I've been playing Resident Evil 4 over the last two days. It's excellent and just as creepy if not moreso with the crazed Spanish villagers and cult members. I like the addition of the merchant, even if he does get ahead of you after the most vicious battles. I wish I had his travel route and I would have avoided most of them.
PSP news, I am still playing Ridge Racers, playing movies on it and listening to music. It's still sexy as all get out. And with the American release just over a month away, I'll have more games to choose from. There' s a few choice titles amonst the huge EA offerings.
I want Gran Turismo 4, thats only a few weeks away, but before I do all that, Valentines Day is coming up and I plan to take my wife out somewhere nice and spoil her rotten.
We've only been married a year, and her previous relationship of seven years never provided much in way of spoilage on this special day. She told me that the last few Valentines before we got married, she got no cards, just some car insurance money, or something practical. Practical is fine most of the time, but this is the one day to go all out and prove you mean it when you say I love you. I've never really considered myself a romantic, but, I do love my wife and I want her to feel really special. Which she is

miffy:
Valentines is for the boys here, a couple weeks later there is "white day" which is like valentines for the girls. Basically the corporations manage to split the holiday to make double the money.
