The day off party has ended. Pirates was super disappointing.
I get to work 8 nights in a row. So that is going to be exhausting and not fun. I just hope that tonight is the crappiest night I will have out of them all, because tonight was hella shitty. Not the worst I have ever had, because it was a night, so I didn't have to check in 150 people, or check out 175. I just get to deal with the people who the previous shifts dicked over, ignored, or promised stuff that we ended up not having.
This job is exhausting in that I have two choices, sit and be bored, or stand and be bored. It kills my back because I don't have shoes really suited to work, so standing is out. Sitting isn't a great option either, because I have horrible posture and the chair doens't help at all. It has no support of any kind so my back and neck end up killing me. It has gotten to the point that I am taking medicine to try and help. Something I hardly ever do, because I really don't like having to take any kind of medicine. It is either take a couple advil and pretend like it helps any, or endure the constant pain and not know if I feel like breaking down, throwing up, or just curling into a ball.
I have over an hour left here at work. Shouldn't be that big of a deal though, since it is Sunday morning. I will be surprised if I have to check out more than 2 people.
