Every death is different, but the echoes are often the same.
Listening tonight to a friend who's dad just passed, and I'm so reminded of everything I went through when my own father died. It's both less isolating to know someone else is going through it, and horrible that anyone else should have to. I hope he handles it better than me. It's been almost eight years since my Dad died, and I'm still sorting through the fallout.

There will always be more to process, but this culture (using the term very loosely) doesn't really prepare us for death. Hugs and lots of sighs help. (big hug)
