Meet Buhrl.

Buhrl appeared on the shower wall while I was trying to take a much-needed and well-deserved shower halfway through our trip to Costa Rica. He was larger than my hand.

Fractal snapped this picture shortly before he waltzed comfortably through a cat door.

I'm just a little old insect biologist here... but that looks like a wandering spider, virtually all species of which can have a very nasty bite! I hope it didn't shower with you frown
All of your pics are great! I like them. Yeah, San Jose is, in general, my understanding, a large slum with a fairly high crime rate.
