Say bye bye to pink?

So here is the deal
I am up for a very big promotion at work
They won't me to become a manager which is a HUGE deal
BUT
They want me to loose the pink hair
Since I have to look respectable when I tell people what to do
So now I'm completely bummed about this
Because this job mean a lot to me and I really want this break
But since the color is so dominant I can either cut my hair (which I SO don't want to do) or dye it dark
And I just got used to being blonde again frown
What should I do?

I know it would do lots of damage but can't you dye it blond? won't that take the pink out of your hair?
if not, I think you would look fantastic in a dark-rich-red-brown sort of hair smile
