Yesterday was Easter and it was a very interesting day, and unfortunately not in the best sense of the word.
How did you spend Easter with your family during the quarantine?
Here at home we made a traditional lunch - is it common to eat codfish there in your country too? - and we eat together. But the rest of the family was not here, so we had to make video calls with everyone.
It made me thoughtful. I think the act of hugging will have much more meaning after all this is over, right?

Hugging us just as intimate as a deep kiss. I miss the hugs too

We eat ham (which I don't like) or Turkey at my house. My sister and nephew who live across the street came over (we were not on lockdown). We ate and my nephew looked for eggs and his basket and mine too. He asked why I got a basket from the Easter Bunny too but not his mom, Babi and Papa( we are Czech, so Babi means grandma if you didn't know). We said it was because I do not have kids yet. It was fun and always nice to see the family.
