I have just begun to discover something I call memes. Actually the phrase was coined by some British biologist named Dawkins in year I was born. He seemed to think it should mean: a unit of information carried from one person to another. This being a cultural phenomenon transmitted by repetition similar to the way genes replicate biologically.
I believe our systems constantly clone themselves on a cellular level and, similarly, on emotional and spiritual levels, although only certain facets may be visible. So we recreate ourselves through our memes, our actions. As copy machines, we multiply what we are in many forms, without conscious discrimination.
We create what we are. Atoms mirror atoms we are constantly cloning ourselves emotionally, physically, and spiritually in our actions, and thoughts. We are duplicating our inner technology in the exterior. This theory expresses a poetic synthesis of some key principles of religion and physics: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. What you sow you shall reap, non?
