located on highway 95, forty five miles north of Las Vegas, Nevada and fifteen miles south of the National Nuclear Test Site, a statue of Sekhmet, ancient image of women's power, sits regally inside her temple. She faces the test site to heal Mother Earth. The temple, rising in the middle of the Mojave Desert, was built in honor of Sekhmet, the lion headed Egyptian goddess of birth, fertility and rage.
the sand-colored stucco temple is open to all the elements of nature. In the center of the temple is a sacred fire pit for ceremony.
