after talking with one of my rehab people and my social worker, I've decided to file a grievance with my insurance company. according to my certificate of coverage, my policy does cover short term rehab that is of significant benefit to the individual's day to day functioning if the impairment is caused by accident, illness, or congenital defect that has been surgically repaired. in my very humble opinion, TIAs caused by a 14mm hole in my heart, a congenital defect that was surgically repaired, perfectly fits under that little clause.
part of me wants to powerhouse it and get documentation from every single doctor involved so I can send in a document with the last line: BAM! the other part of me wants to type it up RIGHT NOW and send it in so that I can get the fuck going on my rehab.
either way, nothing will happen until monday so I can decide over the weekend.
my mom and I carved the best pumkpin tonight. it is sneezing. we named it bruce. I am eating excellent pumpkin seeds right now.
