MistressMissy gave me a sneak preview ticket to The Devil Wears Prada and so I roped my mom into seeing it with me tonight.

why can't people talk to each other? honestly, if I guy was hitting on you and you repeatedly were turning him down and he kissed you in front of your friend and your friend bitched you out for him kissing you, wouldn't you say, "hey, this dude keeps macking on me even though I keep turning him down!"?
and if you knew that you had to have a shit job for a year in order to have any job in the world you wanted and your partner was being a bitch about your job sucking, wouldn't you just say to your partner, "suck it the fuck up, I'm in job-world boot camp. this bullshit will last one year and then we've got it made."?

then again, if it weren't for silly misunderstandings, we wouldn't have happy little movies like that. we would have to watch movies like Pi and Brazil and Kafka and I would be the only one in the theater who actually was enjoying the show, and that would just be sad.
or maybe we would have to actually do things with our lives... another scary prospect.
