It's been raining here all night and still this morning and afternoon. It's the time of year that makes me think, "Damn, if that rain were snow we would have like 80 feet!" Yeah, I have no idea how to measure precipitation.

So I have been cooking up a storm this morning! I made mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, green bean casserole, cranberries, fruit salad and of course the meat free roast. The only thing we don't have is rolls. But I think we can live without them.

My mom called and said that my brother is in town and that he wants everyone to get together today and go out to dinner. Everyone including my mom and her husband and my dad. I asked if my brother had some kind of announcement to make, my mom didn't think so. I think we will be a little stuffed to want to eat, but I said we would go. I don't get to see my brother that often and quite frankly I like it that way. But any chance I can get to hang out with my mom and dad is a chance I want to take!

I am still not feeling the best today. No more but my head is stuffed up and my throat is scratchy. I am always sick with something it seems.
