Well hey, semester officially starts on Tuesday. Finally.
Of course, from the syllabus I got emailed for the Capstone course (Captstone=final project), looks like I'm gonna have to step it up this semester. Or, well, procrastinate...which I kinda don't want to do. Must...not...be lazy...
Sooo...TCM shows Five Easy Pieces which was a good, if bleak movie. Then they show this old, stop-motion with-people, driving safety video called "Stop, Look, and Listen" (where the people are the cars)
And now, they're showing this post WW2 American propaganda film that must've freaked people out back then. But wow...ridiculous and hilarious today. All paranoid and "fear the Germans even though we won because they're still dangerous. Hate them all!" Or..something along those lines. Of course, we have and haven't come much farther these days...
