Wicked awesome humongous update alert!! Lots of exciting things have been happening to me!! And I gots lots of pics.
First off...TATTOO!!!!! Started my sleeve today! Spent about six hours on it and it is so frakkin good I wanna puke! I literally could not be happier with how it's looking!
It is essentially a Labyrinth sleeve, but to those who might be confused about the finished goblin it is going to include a lot of stuff that Brian Froud drew up when they were planning the movie also. Concept art and what-not. The finished one is Gurtie who is my favorite of Brian Froud's goblins! He is the most lethal because of his poisonous bite but the nicest, all he wants to do is make you some hot cocoa and force you to enjoy life some more. I'm going back next week to shade in Sir Didymus and start on Jareth!! I'm so excited, I wish is could just fall asleep till then! It needs to happen like now.
Today was also my cat Pot Belly's first birthday!! I got him some toys, a new scratch pad, and a cube thing to play in! His mom, Little Fluff, pretty much thought it was all for her. But they play nice together so it's all good. I made him a nice little cake which he barely ate but I love cake so I took care of that!
I basically make the most ridiculous faces ever. This was my tattoo/cake excitement coma face haha.
I got some awesome erasers. Yes, that IS a pile of shit.
Some friends and I played a board game called Imaginiff... (which I would recommend) and I decided to decorate some of the names. Warning: I'm a giant pervert, like 12 year old boy bad.
And here is my prissy ass dog who loves when we put scarves or jewelry on her.
And some fantastic news...
Had to save best for last....
You're really gonna like this.....
I hope...
I'm in talks with the lovely Lorelei about shooting another set next month!!!!! I can't wait! She is so sweet and of course ridiculously talented! I love Awww Shucks to death and am super proud of it but I was definately really nervous. I'm have so much more confidence now than when we shot that one so I have high hopes for the new one! Keep yo fingers crossed!
(Also I'm up for a promotion at my job now that we are being taken over by a new management company and I basicially have it as long as they decide to create the position. Promotion = more money = less stress = happiness!)

For my art foundation I did my big essay thing on how much influence Brian Froud's concept art had on the final look of the film, in particular the ballroom scene.
I'm sorry if I've scared you, I just wanted to say that your sleeve when it is done is going to be incredible.
I didn't get the mailbox part, but I don't really want to Wikipedia it because obviously there was an alien encounter there and i'm actually scared of aliens so I don't reaaally wanna know more...
I loved her too! And Candee. Devastated she's gone
P.s. I love that pic of you drinking your drink, all nonchalant, "yeah, just getting stabbed repeatedly, what of it"
