Not long ago I failed to make it a habit to tell people thank you. Perhaps unconsciously I had this fear that bringing attention to the good things in my life might incur bad luck. So to play it safe, I went along without a grateful heart. Now, I'm quick to express thanks whenever a good thing comes into my life. Somehow, there's always something to be thankful about! I have this simple statement that I make often, "You won't be happy with more until you're happy with what you've have"
What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it--would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have.
