I'm starting to lose weight instead of gain it. It's amazing how going from a place where you walked most of the time everywhere daily (Portland) to a place where you can't even take a walk down a country road without having people think your casing their property (East Texas) will make the pounds creep up! Creepy pounds...stop stalking me!
I have a new project in the works and as soon as it's all settled in I'll let you know all about it.
Having a camera again has been so nice. And once again I can start productively getting creative so I can sell my stuff. My Etsy shop has long been neglected not to mention my goth auctions and e-bay accounts! And a few other sites I have accounts with.
Here's a picture of the house I live in:
the trees and the old tin roof are why I get no cell coverage inside the house and I would have to wonder the yard try to grab a signal just to read or send a text. I gave up my cell phone within two months of being here.
Here's another picture of Bandita. Just cause I like it. If you missed the other pics just check the last journal entry.
Here's one of the goats. The only gray one left. The other one died over the winter.
And here's one of the horse. His momma died over the winter too. Now it's just him out in the front pasture but he like to hang around and watch over the goats.
And this is the amazing buffalo style seitan sandwich I made last week. Messy but soooo good!
Hmmm....
I will probably stuff a delicata squash for Thanksgiving dinner and make some dirty mashed tators with gravy. I squirreled away some of grannies fresh brussel sprouts since the recipe she is making has butter, bacon and chicken broth. Yeah, I'm expected to change my eating habits for them but they continue to tell me that they will not change how they eat for me. Oh how I love living here. (Not so much Grannie but 'the others'. Even though one of them was raised a 7th Day Adventist, she can not understand how I can eat only vegetables...ugh). Not that it matters much. I'm used to cooking for myself and I prefer it anyway.
Not much else to say I guess.
Any special plans for my American friends for the holiday? What are you thankful for this year?
I'm extremely thankful for all the awesome friends I have made since being on this site. It still amazes me how wonderful people can be even when you only know them from images and words on a screen. Of course I've met loads of you all too and look forward to meeting so many more.
Ok well as always much love and eat your veggies!

So what do you think is making you lose all the wait? What place are you living now?
I cant wait to hear about it.
It would be hard for me to not have a camera! I need to be a member of other sites, but I guess I really need to get a good amount of art together to sale.
Wow, that would be hard, I think they have devices you can put on your property that boosts your signal, like your own little cell tower.
Poor goat, did it just get sick from the cold?
Is the horse lonely, or does the goats keep him company?
I went to my moms house, we had a big dinner, we had about 17 or 18 people at her house including the kids and babies.
