AceT was the perfect house guest. Hardly ever around and ate all the leftovers 
Currently I'm spending time re-arranging stuff in my house. Most interesting part: getting a rather large couch into my basement!
Apparently I have another house guest though. My son says there is a mouse in the closet area off of the bathroom. I haven't seen it yet but it comes out at night and is small and gray. Today I will be looking for him. Hopefully we can catch him and put him out.
I rode the bus for the first time since moving to Portland. It was interesting and I prefer subways but it definitely is useful.
All and all, life is good.

I know just enough about computers to get me INTO trouble but not enough to get me OUT. Aaaargh!

it is all about their environment - I had ones for like 10 years and they died when I moved to NY or ones that died when I moved back to LA and since then I just buy some and let them live for 6 months then they randomly die one day! I need more light in my apartment, which for some reason slipper orchids seem to be doing great in! Cheaper than flowers!
