had a good day... productive. i had photography class and my first experience in a dark room. it was sooo dark. i had no idea. i thought there would be a red light on or something; but no, pitch black and i loved it. i really need to check out the deprivation tank they have out at UBC. but yeah, i processed my first roll of negatives and didn't screw up!
i came home and cleaned, did homework, had a great conversation with my roomate, made the WORST macaroni ever, then gill came over and we all watch "you can count on me"... it was good. you should rent it.
afterwards i went for a walk and listened to music... something i havent done enough of lately. its always so inspiring. i dont think i've ever gone on a bad walk. guaranteed good times. i realized when i got home, that i had been smiling the whole time.
i'm going to go play some guitar now... maybe write a song about darkrooms and long walks.

You'll get to the red light sooner or later, you were processing B&W negatives, oui? I put my film on the reel inside a changing bag, and process in my kitchen sink, then scan the negatives and makes prints from there, but I miss the smell of the darkroom, and the quiet joy of watching yor image appear.

Glad to hear that you're doing better! I was worried about you!
