last night was the buffy sing-a-long and it was great. 200 buffy fans singing their little hearts out. i got super into it... i've wanted to go to a movie sing along ever since i was little. it used to be the sound of music, remember? for some reason i never went. this time i couldnt miss out.
tonight we are having friends over to carve pumpkins and watch scary movies. then we're going to go see bob wiseman play. tomorrow night we dress up! i'm pretty excited although... not as excited as usual. am i getting too old? no... i think the problem is that halloween never lives up to expectations. like new years, only worse. i grew up loving halloween. my mom would go all out and always had an amazing costume. she would get ready with her girfriends and they would go "party" and come home early the next morning. was halloween more fun in the eighties?
