So I got back together with my girlfriend and it's been good. We're talking about things we should have been talking about before. We're having fun. But I think the most important thing is that, as she pointed out, she's not trying as hard as before. And it's been so much better as a result. When she tried hard, it turned me off.

OK, then,...

It's been a strange week.

I believe that my ex and I will still be friends, but she needs to find a boy. Of course, it'll be hard to replace me. heh.

Staggered in here via AutoD's page and I would just like to say...

Bastard!!! At least you're getting some!

LOL

That's a touchy spot you're in. I probably would have caved in too, in fact I kind of hoped for a little post-breakup action there for a while myself...

Nada, she turned to ice on me. I can't decide which way is better, yours or mine.

at least you got some... smile

Anyway, I'm totally comfortable with this, and I'm a bit surprised that I am. I've been in a great mood ever since Sunday night.

We approved the latest contract offer; I'm going back to work. The contract isn't very good, but it will be OK, I think.

I'm just glad I'm going to drive a bus again.

i feel as if i should print out a copy of your post and take it straightaway to the nearest record store and plunk down some cash! i am so enamored of the transatlanticism album, i listened to it on my way to work this morning. it made me start thinking of songs that reverberate with me in the sense that no matter what sort of mindframe i'm in, those songs that always and immediately bring ____ emotion into play. and the whole album makes me feel equally split into irrepressible joy and a strange lingering melancholy... (read profound wonder at every listen through.)
i'm glad you posted in my journal!! i think your probably a very cool cat, if somewhat of a lurker.. tee hee!
