Me sick + terrible Sydney weather outside = me staying home all day playing videogames.
I picked up 'Tribes: Vengence' last week and I've finally had a chance to play it. It's graphically excellent, which is no suprise considering it's built onthe UT2K4 engine, but the gameplay is a little 'meh'. The previous two games were probably my favourite online games ever; I had an unbelievable amout of fun playing them when they came out. This one seems a little too much standard FPS to me. There doesn't seem to be the same sense of vastness and open space. Not to mention that the single player game seems to be intent on making you run around indoors for 90% of the time, which really isn't what Tribes was about. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying playing it, but I had pretty high hopes which aren't being met.
