me and my boys went out and got crazy cranked on Monday night at Kareoke. I paid for it dearly yesterday. I tried all night to stave off the hangover by drinking ridiculous amounts of water every time I got up to pee, but no dice.
here's the worst part though. I had yesterday off so there was lots of time to recover.. until 9:30AM when one of the cooks called me to take his shift because he was sick. I had to go to work from 10-2, but the replacement cook didn't show until 3. I was hurting so bad, and even though it was my fault, I could have been at home wallowing in my misery not taking it out on anybody else. In any case, I got home and went straight to sleep, as my head hurt a lot.
I watched JFK last night since I felt like sitting in a chair for 3+ hours. I really enjoyed that, I'd never seen it before, although I do like Oliver Stone in general.
I.feel.wonderful this morning. Colette79 had so much laundry that she spent the night at her parents
but we both have the day off tomorrow, so I think we'll go to the beach, since we haven't gotten to do that together this summer yet.
We also got another digital camera, this one is mostly Colette's, since she wanted a good camera that has a lot of auto features. I wanted a good camera with good glass and advanced features. So we settled on the Nikon Coolpix 8800, which i got wholesale from a friend who works at black's. Saved over $200! Very exciting! Here is is:
I'm looking forward to testing it out! Colette has first dibs on all the fun though!
