Hey everybody, sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've been an awfully busy guy this past week. Last Sunday I shot an event for the MS Society, which went really well. It's really getting to be a regular thing working with them. I enjoy it though, mostly because it's for a worthy cause, and I usually have fun, even though it was a 14 hour day or something...
The event was a Classic car rally, we went up to Beausejour and then to Pinawa. I'd never been to Pinawa before, it was pretty nice. I had a bit of the afternoon to hang out, so i sat down by the water and chilled out.
in the meantime, hijinks ensued. the photo speaks for itself.
the big dude with the mic is Hal Anderson the 34th Greatest Canadian due to a flood of votes from Power 97 listeners. hmm. Why did people vote for him? Why did the americans vote Ronald Reagan the greatest American? Some questions are best left unanswered for fear of opening a pandora's box.
Thursday was another fun/productive day. I finally got all my Passport stuff sorted out, so II should get that in the next few weeks, hooray!! Then, Me and Colette79 went out for our anniversary dinner, and went to Wasabi on Broadway and promptly dropped $140 on our amazing meal. Soooo yummy! I'd love to do that more often, but my wallet can't support it!
Canada Day was insanity. It's the busiest day of the year at our restaurant as the street out front is always shut down for the street festival, and everyone wants nachos and beer. I was so tired after that, but went to go meet Colette79 at Cai and boyinbrown's place, and we hung out, played games, etc. It was fun, but I would have had more fun if I'd been less tired. I ate a subway sandwich at about 8 PM after all I was eaten that day was a poptart at 8 AM. It was so good.
Today is running errands day. I already made salsa, but now I have to run to the Village to get my tips and get groceries.

also, I couldn't help myself. today i bought a bottle of Auchentoshan,
and I'm going to try that out tonight. I really wanted to have an affordable light malt around for the summer, and I think I found it!
