So this whole weekend was fantastic - yes seriously! Well for the most part anyway
Went to the TOAST NZ fest on Saturday and got hell as sunburnt but all good. Met up with Gav afterwards and went down to the Intrepid Fox and then on to the Cro Bar. Aside from another friend getting all emo on us was going real well. Sat in a corner chilling and chatting when noticed that the music had stopped. Odd....then one of the guys strolled through shouting at the top of his lungs. He came back and told us what was going on, something along the lines of "you need to leave now as this place is gonna be crawling with cops any minute now." I just shrugged and was like whatever hang on. He then started yelling at a couple of guys at the back to hurry up as everyone needs to leave. We got to the front and saw why.....the bar manager's little brother had been stabbed in the back right outside the front door. I was gutted for her, and for him. Not sure what is going on with that one. According to Simon though he was stabbed in the lung.... gutted as.
Made way back to the hotel and settled down for the night. Didn't realise just how sunburnt i was haha
Today I am still bright red but was kinda worth it and would do it again just to see Dave Dobbyn.
