Life's felt a bit hard lately. I've decided to take a sabbatical from my great love, acting, in order to spend more time at home, but it's left a big gap, which I'm struggling to fill with something productive. Instead I'm eating too much, watching too much TV and just mooching around.
Sometimes I feel like acting's a bit of a drug which has kept me from taking part in the real world my entire life, to the extent that I now feel it's too late. But maybe recognition of that will help me to find a new direction, and while cold turkey seems to be the way forward at present, maybe I'll find a way to combine drama and real life in time.
