Spent the weekend at Comics Expo in Bristol (UK). A good time was had by all. I sometimes wonder about fandom, though, and what leads people into it. I mean, I like to think that I appreciate comics as an artform and a storytelling medium - you'd never get me dressed up in a Batman costume, no sir! But who am I kidding - it's just a short step between the guy in the Batman suit, the girl in the Ambassador Kosh encounter suit, and me. Maybe they've just got that little bit more balls to go the whole hog and not worry about what people think. I've always been a bit ruled by seeking the approval of others, maybe I'd be better to let it all hang out and embrace my inner fanboy!

I've never been to a comic con, I'm sad! You should have invited me! I'd dress up as something if I could. It would be fun!
