Faced with Deunan's (not entirely unfounded) accusation that I never update, I figured it was well past time I did so.
Well, the weather over the weekend showed the first vague signs of Spring. Not quite warm yet, but pleasant and a biy of sun. Hard to think it'll be May next week. I live in a small town high up in the hills, which always remains a few degrees colder than everywhere else in Britain.
I'm reading a cool novel at present: 'The Water Room' by Christopher Fowler. It's a quirky detective novel based around the hidden rivers of London. Apparently there are loads of tributaries to the Thames which were converted into sewers, or concreted over, but still exist under London itself.
Will that do you for now, Deunan, lovey? Not the most exciting entry ever, but hey, you've got to start somewhere ... Once I get into the updating habit, there'll be no stopping me ...

Everyone's a critic! (I'll see what I can do to liven things up a bit.)

LOL, thanks for taking my advice. My ex-stepdad's last name was Fowler. I am so excited that school is getting out. I will actually have time to read books. I love books. I love anything I can read. I have a small collection of Playboy magazines. I think the oldest one I have is from the 60's. They're fun to read.
