OK, I’ve been to a few doctors, I’ve had tests done, and this is the good news (there is no bad news 😆): My electrolytes are well in acceptable ranges (K and Na being most important. Excess K/Na ratio, or just high K is drop-dead-of-heart-attack time). My testosterone is high, very high, for a woman, but very low for a man. My œstradiol is off the charts for a man (yay), and that of a mid-cycle woman. Whoopee!
So, I’m responding well to hormone treatment, and it doesn’t seem to be killing me yet.
Win.
I do however have the mental wellbeing and emotional stability of a 12 year old girl – when she’s having a very, very, bad day – so it’s the future that looks good, but sure as hell not the present.
