So, I have roughly a month before I move back to Beautiful Central Illinois, and I can't goddamn wait. I miss my friends, I miss things (aside from Denny's) that are open past 10 in the evening, and I miss going to class. I really miss going to class, actually. I also am looking forward to wearing pants, and not getting in a pool ever again.

I lived most of my life in Toronto, where there were loads of places that were open late, or open 24 hours.

For the past decade I've lived in a small town where nothing is open late. Seriously, one of the two grocery stores closes at 7pm! We used to have a 24-hour convenience store, but now they close at 2am. We have a coffee shop that's 24 hours. And as of a couple weeks ago, we have a 24-hour gas station.

YAY!

So I have sympathy for you being in a place where everything closes at night, when you could be in a place where everything stays open.
