My day off:
Slept til 5. Cookout at Gregs with the other pool people. Home. I rule. Tomorrow, back to 10 hour days.

I did get to play with a blowgun, though. That was pretty sweet.

I wish the weather'd hurry the fuck up and decide if we're going to have a cold nasty summer or a tropical one. It'd make my life scads easier.

In other news, I work a 12 hour day saturday, even though theoretically they've banned us from taking both day- and week-over time. Silly park district.

So, I'm no longer dying, and I got over the first big hurdle of finals. Also, I'm seeing the holdsteady twice in a row in a month, and I get to see girl_afraid before she leaves. And, I get to see mewithoutYou and Wilco. so, basically, the times when I'm not working 10-12 hour shifts should be pretty awesome.

As for morals.... see, this is why it's such a confusing concept. It's not just medicine, but also law, and even philosophy.

Specific morals don't seem to be determined by the brain physiologically. But there's a certain percentage of the population that seems to lack, well, something in their brains which lets them have morals. Whatever the specifics of those morals are.

Mind you, when it comes to law, the question is also whether they know that what they're doing is wrong in the eyes of the law, and not just whether they agree it's wrong.
