i'm just really exhausted today. i guess last night was very draining. i fell asleep at about 8:30pm on a friday night. i'm cool my parents were extremely supportive and they are still processing the news. so we'll see. i had a day out with my mom and despite being exhausted, it was good. i got some nice things to put together as a gift basket for rob's parents. i'm pretty good at it, i must say. i have to avoid knic-knacs and ornaments and all that crap because she tends to be a pack rat but she hates it. and unfortuntely, i do not like her taste, which can be tacky at times, since she won't throw junk stuff away and has to incorprate it into the house somehow. blah. so, since they are doing a big house renovation in order to have the place looking nice for christmas, i figured she would like some things for entertaining with. this way the things can be useful and used up, instead of another crap thing she hangs on to. i got some mixes for dip, red pepper jelly, a board for spreads with a christmasy theme, and some German cookies which are all decorative and could just be placed out on a table (they are german and dutch). then some loose chocolates as decoration. i may get a box of chocolates and/or something from the liquor store to finish it off. i love giving presents, wrapping presents, and making christmas cards. in fact, my mom's supposed to get a list together of relatives in NZ to make them for. I get special paper, like handmade papers of assorted styles, and yeah it's just fun. i made a bunch for my teachers last year. my mom wanted me to do something crazy like go through all our photos and assemble a photo album of...our whole lives?! lol for the NZ ppl. this is much easier. anyways, pretty dull weekend ahead but whatever....no, that's not a very good outlook. things are great. no worries, i'm not bummed just tired. holding something in so long and then releasing it finally in one big burst does that to you i guess. so i hope your weekend's good too!
(I think as i type these things, can't you tell?)
