i remember reading in a wired article that SG claimed to have more than 50% female membership. I don't buy it. Do a hookup search, with no constraints except female, then constrain it to only guys with pics. You get just over 200 girls and many, many more guys. I didn't want to post this in the forums, because people would flame me for attacking the site. Nevertheless, it seems pretty shady. I mean, granted, these are only those who have public accounts and have specified their gender, but I seriously doubt that would skew the findings that much. Oh well.

well you also have to see it this way....with the way media portrays lesbianism (sp?) tha alot of woman fear there mothers, fathers, friends finding out they are on the site.......or it could be just a way to get more guys to come to the site when they think heeey wait a minute maybe i could hook up with a girl from the boards dunno
