Totally random
I work as an broadband company called Speakeasy, which is the second coolest place I've ever worked. We have a lot of different customers, from the fine folks at Babeland/URL] to Wells Fargo. I've fixed shit for movie stars, corporate managers, Internet celebrities and politicians
Anywho, my last call of Monday night was none other than The Woz himself, Steve Wozniak. His T1 was down and he was hoping we could make with the fixing.
Now, for those that don't know. The Woz is REALLY the guy that invented the Apple computer in the late 70's. Jobs was a slick operator who was able to market the fucker, but Woz is the man behind the machine. He is, quite literally, one of the men who revolutionized the world. And he called and talked to ME cause he needed technical help
How fucking weird is that? I was pretty good, I didn't go all nerdy fanboy on him, but we did talk about The Old Days for a while.
Did I mention that Monday was my birthday? I suppose not. Well, yeah. For my borthday, the Universe let me have a conversation with one of the founders of the Computer Revolution.
I smile inside.
