Ok I am known for posting funny cartoon photo that others have posted and I repost. Or I will post something about about what is going on with me or my service dog Kirby or tabby cat Bast.
THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE!
In northeast Ohio a police officer left his canine partner in the car for 4 hours, the high that day was 78 degrees. HIS PARTNER DIED! The officer had went into the station to do paperwork and thought he left the car running with air conditioning on. He is very sorry and distrought and granted the police dog was part of his family.
The police department suspended him 2 weeks and forfeit of 1 weeks time vacation!
WAIT A MINUTE! I understand he is sorry. It is a horrific accident, but if it is you or me that does that we are going to jail for animal cruelty charges. Since this is a service dog be it police or personal it is covered under the same federal law, 10 years is the term of imprisonment!
