I'MMMMMMM BAAAAAAACCKK!!!
I'm back from vacation...and my account is back on HERE...YAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!
I had a great time the majority of the trip. Vegas was fantastic...my wife and I actually came out ahead by about 40 bucks in gambling, mostly due to my first hand sitting down at a game called Let It Ride. This is basically a poker-game where you get to look at 3 of your 5 cards and can reduce your original bet to start off...and once again after you see your 4th card. Well, for my first 3 cards I had a pair of Jacks, which meant I had already won...so I kept my $15 bet on the table and didn't reduce it. The next card she turned over was another Jack...giving me 3-of-a-kind...I was thrilled...WOOHOO!! But wait...it gets better...she turns over the last card...and I ended up with a full HOUSE!!! I won $350 off that $15 bet...w00t!!!! And as I said, that was my first hand at the tables...of course the rest of my table games were lousy from there out, but it was still fun at least.
The Cirque de Soleil "O" show was UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING!!!!! One of the coolest things I've ever seen...I totallly recommend it to anyone that goes to Vegas...well worth the high dollar ticket prices.
My wife also got her tattoo...we like it...I'll try and get pics of it up soon...as well as the rest of the trip. We walked through Ceasers and Paris...took a visit to the Hoover Dam...and went up in the Stratosphere...all were really cool. We didn't catch any strip-shows or go to any clubs...we'll have to save that for our next trip.
On the way back home, we stopped in Arizona to visit my aunt, and took a train-ride to the Grand Canyon. I'd seen the canyon before, but it was still breath-taking. And the train ride was a nice relaxing way to visit it.
The drive to Vegas and back was rather uneventful...which is good. No bad weather...no flat tires...nothing.
So anyways...I'm glad to be back...towards the end my mom and step-dad were getting quite annoying...but I expected that to happen. I was glad to see my doggies and kitties again and just sit down in my own home.
ok...and NOW I have to try and catch up a little with everyone else's journals...that should take me a little bit of time.
question of the day: What's the best road-trip you've been on and where did you go? (give me some details if you want)
my answer: my honeymoon trip from here to California and back

cirque du soleil is THE SHIT!! i'm so jealous. i saw their saltimbanco show when it was up here a few years ago. *sigh*
but we saw this one's that are only like 30 bucks at target that will do just fine for here. but i'm not in the market to get anything new for a long long long time.
eh. no biggie. everyone on here has been sooo supportive that there's no way to get down about anything. it's like they make you realize that things really aren't as bad as you think but that even if it is it could only get better, ya know?
and you are sooo lucky to go and see cirque de solei(sp) we want to go to that sooooo bad!!! we were going to ask for tickets to that when they come to nationwide arena but i doubt anyone would really get us that. our family usually get us gift cards to places. oh well chat at ya later...oh did you want to see if i can get those pics of the b.fairies comics that i have and if they come out do you want me to upload them to the group?
i'll work on seeing if i can pull it off tonight.
