I know you are all DYING to know what happened to the banana, but an update on the banana dilemma will be held sometime on Monday and will include pictures. You'll all just have to wait until I get back to school.


lol, my mom got drunk at a social gathering last night. She never drinks, ever, but she is just a tiny little thing, so it doesn't take much for her to become intoxicated. She was walking around the house shuffling her feet and carrying a bowl of soup around with her that she just made. She just kept carrying it around and didn't know where to go with it. Finally, she sets the bowl down, but then she just lies down and goes to sleep. So that prompted me to eat her soup for her.

Here lies a conversation I maintained with my father the other morning:

Dad: Nick, do you have to work?
Me: I don't want to get dressed.
Dad: .....What do you want for dinner tonight?
Me: Pants.

I was really out of it, and I had clothing on my mind.
