So as I mentioned in an earlier post, Paramount were kind enough to bestow some limited edition Star Trek T's on the folks at the SuicideGirls office. I snagged myself one of the red ones, which featured a graphic of the Vulcan salute (like the one Rigel's wearing in the image above).
Being the self-confessed Star Trek dork that I am, I was so excited about my T that I thought I'd save it for a special occasion. That occasion came this past weekend, when I was invited to see the debut of the No Doubt show in Vegas. Their set is very Space Odyssey 2001 meets the Star Trek bridge, so it was entirely appropriate apparel, but I digress.
Anyway, I'm feeling really good in my fab one-of-several T -- until my hubby kindly pointed out that the Vulcan salute depicted was incorrect. It was done with the wrong hand -- AND the thumb was not out (a big no-no according to Leonard Nimoy).
Yeah, my hubby knows how to make a girl feel great. Spent the rest of the evening apologizing to strangers for the gross errors on my shirt. But hell, Paramount sent it to me. You'd think they'd get it right!
