Just a note about my most recent SG interview. I meant to share this with you sooner, but time has been running away from me of late...

Around Thanksgiving I spent some quality time on the phone with investigative journalist and longtime friend of SG Greg Palast. The topic of our conversation was his new book, Vultures' Picnic, which chronicles his investigations into...

In his latest book, Vultures Picnic, investigative reporter Greg Palast jumps ass deep into the one percents favorite combustible lubricant. Years ago Wells Fargo just lost some of my parents money. Not a huge amount but they couldn't explain where it went and refused to refund it until my parents went to the BBB and then they suddenly discovered there error. That was enough for me to never trust them again. I'm rapidly approaching the point where I am not sure I can trust any financial institution. That's pretty sad.

A good bank is First Republic. Check them out. Also, any of you lucky enough to live in the greater Newburyport, Massachusetts area should consider The Institution For Savings. Excellent service that is locally based and keeps it that way, just like the protections put in place after the Great Depression meant it to be.

Had the best Halloween listening to spooky stories and silly songs courtesy of Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman (who might just be the cutest couple, like, ever!).

Also managed to make it to Tuesday morning without wearing anything daft, which is a major win as far as I'm concerned. It's not that I don't like dressing up. I'm happy to do it the rest...
