Whats the country coming to? People looting a destroyed city opening fire on a ploice station. Is there no caring or compassion for these people? Does it make you feel better to steel from someone who just lost everything? How do these evil people sleep at night? I think is about the lowest thing a person can do steel and do evil things to people who lost it all in a few hours and could do nothing but wonder and worry and for some watch.
I just hope everyother country in the world remembers how we are there for them and help us in this time of need like we do them.
Hopefully the enertainment industry steps up and helps out with concerts and such to help out like they did with the sunami. They have so many causes that at the end of the day mean nothing and this is real oh so real.
Everyone keep these people who lost everything in your thoughts and prayers and if you can give a little back in anyway to them.

I saw children and women and men on the news walking through rubble and debris along the interstate shoeless because they had none. Not exactly safe...
I think stealing dry clothing and shoes for children's feet is perfectly ok.
New Orleans is a corrupt city - it's full of crime - they have at least one homicide a day...
People are going to steal guns - the people who are apart of that atrocious crime rate. It's not ok - but it's not surprising either.
The same with the jewlerly and the electronics and stuff - the people stealing this - are most likely not the most law abiding citizens to begin with...It's not surprising that in a situation like this that they'd take advantage of it.
It's not right nor is it ok...but everyone is getting too caught up in the things like looting and are losing focus about what's important here: lives.
The people who are stealing these items probably aren't the most law abiding citizens of New Orleans in the first place.
Hence why they are doing this.
Guns I see as being just a LITTLE more of a bad thing to steal...
How exactly does stealing a tv hurt anyone? Yes it's theft. Yes it's not a necessity to survive...but they're not going to blow anyone's head off with it.
I'm not condoning it...but I just don't get why people are losing sight of what is REALLY important here....
Material possessions? Or LIVES.
