So, this is me apologizing for my lack of presence on SG last week...
We got back from Vegas just fine, and then getting caught up on work took a lot.
I apologize to everyone who sent me sweet messages that I didn't reply to! I do thank you guys
This place sure doesn't slow down much! It seems like I've been gone a year.....And I've been fine. This place has been fine. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to become an SG still, but, it's not the holy grail that it was even 3 weeks ago.
To be honest, I could walk away from this place today, and be fine. I would miss the awesome people that I've met here, but anything else? Nah. There is pleny I can do without doing this.
I'm glad that I'm at this place now. I needed to step back and stop obsessing about it. I had somehow tied my self-worth into a pink profile, and that's not good.
So, I may be around here a little less, and turn out sets a little less, and not participate in contests that I didn't have a chance of winning anyway, but all that is ok.
I am very glad I've had the opportunity to become friends with so many of you. Don't worry, not leaving yet! Just savoring the freedom of being able to think about this place without saying "Why am I not pink yet?"
