Ahhhh! It has been a long time since I have updated!
Well, I got rid of Fraggle (the old car) and traded her in for a new car...Nanu, a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid! I love this car! It gets such wonderful gas mileage, and I can drive it all over CT very very cheaply. Then only downfall is that I have to eventually put in a new "after market" stereo so I can plug in and play my iPod. Oh, and that I totally screwed up my credit when I was 18 with 2 maxed out credit cards (which have been payed off for about 6 months...yay!) so I am paying 11.39% interest. But I think I will get a lot of value from this car so I should be good!
Dragon*con is coming up! I do not know how I am going to afford it, but I already have my plane ticket so I am gunna be there! Slave Leia will def make an appearance, maybe a new costume or two along with some zombie make-up thing.
I am starting to plan the wedding...although we do not have a date yet, I am looking at ideas, and I started putting together a book. We want an outdoor wedding, with the colors blue and orange, and I want one of my horses to carry me in (with both my parents guiding the pony). It is an overwhelming task, to plan a wedding, but luckily I will have my cousin Monica, my future sister-in-law (who has been in like 4 wedding parties) and the fabulous Kiley as bridesmaids!
We have been living in the Artists' Co-Op for almost 2 months now, and love it! It is so nice to live in a clean, quirky building where you are excited, not embarrassed, to have guests over! I love having my friends over for home-made juices, smoothies, dinner and cocktails. Sometimes I bake, and give out treats to other co-op residents. Elliot and I have been working on more art projects and have decorated some of the empty spaces in the halls with simple but interesting art installments. Yesterday we spent 5 minutes photo-copying our faces and hands and then tacked the pictures up on the wall. We found this really excellent copier in a building where I am building a set for a movie that is being filmed in the city.
So, other than looking for a real, adult full time job to pay my 1,000$ in bills every month (not including health insurance at this point cause I am so poor), I am still working at the 2 restaurants and getting random theatre jobs here and there. We plan to get the theatre company I am starting up and rehearsing beginning of August, and the film that I am doing set design for is having shoot dates end of this month! I may even audition for a show at my Alma Mater (yeah, I am all graduated!!!!!!!) if I can fit it into my life schedule.
So, have a great day friends! Hope you are all doing well,
