Its been a while since I updated with a blog here...but so much has been going on that I have little time for internet writing!
Lets see...
Well, I directed a show for children (geared towards the 3rd grade audience) about Pippi Longstocking and it went fabulously! It opened Thursday for the University, and then Friday for the public. May 7th and 14th we are touring to schools.
I am also in Shakespeare's As You Like It in the ensemble. It is a lot of fun, but TONS of dance work. That show goes up next week so starting tomorrow we are starting tech (so I am stuck at school from 12 noon til 11 pm!)
My advanced makeup class is great! I did some awesome horror makeup, and my actually get a quick job doing horror makeup for town fire departments when they do large scale crash scene practices.
Elliot and I are still madly in love. The cat is still fat, the apartment is still clean (even with a lot of my stuff here!). His parents now know that we are engaged, and we just have to let my folks in on it...sometime.
The horses are great too! Sam had a bit of a lyme-type disease, but that blew over in a week or two. Astrid had some hoof rain rot in all four of her feet during the nasty rain we had here in the Northeast about a month ago, but now she's great! They even went out on a nice trail ride and everything!
I might start finishing/training another horse this summer, Sam's half sister, Delilah. Then another horse, Pilgrim, a two year old, is going to be ready to start doing some round pen work and ponying around! yay! I love when I can stay busy with ponies...
I graduate in May. This is hugely exciting! After 7 long years, I will have two degrees: A BA in History US, and a BFA in Educational Theatre. The scary thing is I pretty much just quit my job waitressing in order to try to find a job in a theatre/teaching. Another possibility is that I attempt to become a flight attendant so I can travel more. Cause, I really, really, really want to travel all over the world. I have friends in Germany, South Africa, France, Greece, Puerto Rico that I want to just hop on a plane and go visit for the summer and work. BUT I do not think Elliot will take so kindly to that idea.
I painted another mural on campus this past weekend. It is not as good as the other one, but it has a deeper meaning. This one is about the drug Premarin and how it causes breast cancer in women it is supposed to be helping. The main ingredient is PMU: Pregnant Mare Urine. gross right? well it was given to my Grandma, and now she, along with thousands of other women, developed breast cancer.
The only sad news here to report is that my car, Fraggle is dying. I am looking for a new car, but an older used Jetta. They are great on gas, super cute, and German. I just do not know if I want to spend money on a car now when I could be using that money to travel! But, alas, life comes before fun. Depending if I move this summer, and where I get a job in the Fall and if the car fully dies this summer, depends on when and if I get a new car.
And I will end on a wonderful note that I have dropped 2 dress sizes! Woo Hoo! I do not know how I managed it, but with more exercise now that it is nice out and eating much better, it happened. I do not know the total pounds lost, but the dress sizes make it!
Have a great week!

Last year we went to he world sci fi con, which was in montreal, and had lots of fun.
I've always heard that dragoncon is awesome, but it's far enough away that we'd either have to fly or take lots of extra time to drive, so I've never been.
being vegan so far has been way easier than I expected. I've been doing alot more cooking lately, but I'm starting to think that cooking your own food is important. and fun.
