So. Dinosaurs are still my favorite extinct animals. Thanks Deceptiviewfilm for coming up to see Walking With Dinosaurs with me! That show, although for kids, exceeded my expectations!
I have finally decided that I am a horseback riding god. My latest pony project, Sam, is a 4 year old Freisian cross that needed some re-training. I have known this horse for years, and it was lovely to finally ride him. Except for the bucking when I asked him for a canter in the ring. My legs are still sore from Tues! But, I stayed on, and we did some work on the spookiness of cars. (Sam is terrified of on-coming traffic, but passing traffic from behind is fine? Horses are so weird sometimes) We walked around parked cars/trucks at the farm and stood looking at them for a few moments to try to get over any fears of them. He did great! I stayed on, and we accomplished a lot together, I am very proud of him.
In other news, I am about to fulfill a life dream this weekend: I am following Kenny Chesney on his New England tour. Lame...I don't care! Tonight is Hartford (please stop raining so I can tailgate New England!!!), then Saturday is Gillette Stadium up in Mass. Sat night's concert was the big one, 240$ ticket (we had to bid on them, we got four, and all money goes to charity!!!), front row!!!!!!!!! I am going to be in heaven.
That's it for now, it is time for me to pack vegan tailgating food and get dressed for the concert!
*vegan kisses*
God, he is a handsome cowboy! I am definitely acting like a 12 year old at an N*Sync or JoBro Concert...but I don't care...I am happy!!!
And there is Mr. Sam last year (with Sara riding him, not me) He is so gorgeous, I love his Freisian mane and tail and feathered feet!
