Some year we have to go to dragoncon! This year I can't get time off until half way through sept. because of the way my job handles 'primetime' summer vacation request. blech.

Last year we went to he world sci fi con, which was in montreal, and had lots of fun.
I've always heard that dragoncon is awesome, but it's far enough away that we'd either have to fly or take lots of extra time to drive, so I've never been.

being vegan so far has been way easier than I expected. I've been doing alot more cooking lately, but I'm starting to think that cooking your own food is important. and fun. smile

I never got around to the lekku, mainly cause it turns out I can't get the time off from work to go to celebration this year. The stuff I found seemed pretty complicated though. most of the info I got from this http://www.padawansguide.com/secura.shtml which is a huge star wars costuming site that you've probably already seen. I don't think I got much further than looking at stuff that was liked to that site.
