I have been:

Working quite a bit at the Cab. Lots of late nites.

Some of them were really good nights too.

Really notable were I Fly Spitfires [w/ Kubichek, good shoes, flying matchstick men, thee comrades], and a particularly good set from Gary Mac at We Are Electric [where Chris from the Egg was doing the back room].

I've also done an italian dinner for 30 in a restaurant, which was easy and enjoyable.

And I got paid to do sound tech for the first time. Working for baby tiger, who've given me 3 shifts for next month [very happy Nick].

I've also been all around town trying to promote White Heat. You will get no more updates about White Heat now because I feel like a corporate whore punting it about here, when it's supposed to be fun.

It will be fun, very very good fun.

Last night was fabulously bad behaviour at the Goulag Beat. Sooo many people I know turned up. I only did a wee set, played lots of new stuff. The band, The Aphrodisiacs, were stunning. I didn't kow what to expect, but if any Weegies get a chance to see them over there, definitely checkl them out.. They do a killer live elctro thing, but as a guitar band. Oh, and the lead singer Stephen had some great tits! In fact, I spent an hour after the club drinking with the transexual who does the door at Ego. She's a sweetie - great cheekbones too!

Oh and someone gave me some ~Ephedrine. I took it. It was alright. If anyone has any idea what the fuck it is, please let me know.

I'm cooking dinner for my friend Dominic tonight. Soon actually. Aberfeldy and others will be there checking out the tasty things I can do with chicken thighs. I hope no-one's veggie... I got very nice chat from the girl at Tesco when I was buying the food. That's kinda by the by.

Other stuff... hmm...

There was a brilliant party last Saturday in Stockbridge at this huge millionaire's place. I arrived at 5.30am and it was still going strong. Cool people, cool party, bad behaviour...

Oh and I had a rehearsal with a band on Tuesday, which went pretty well. Except that it confirmed my suspicion that I can't really play drums anymore. Will have to practice.
